By using a plain roller instead of a plain rubber roller, the active effect of the cleaning unit is reduced. The plain steel has less grip on the gross product that has to be cleaned. In dry harvesting conditions, these plain steel rollers cause less product damage. This roller works in combination with a Grimme and Ploeger spiral roller with a spiral  of 8 mm or 10 mm.
