The diameter of the plain axial roller most commonly used for Grimme and Ploeger harvesters is 90 mm.

We also have rollers on stock with a smaller diameter, by example 80 mm, 75 mm or even 70 mm. Using a smaller axial roller, the passage between the plain and the spiral roller is increased. This creates more cleaning capacity and cleaning in harsh conditions requires less power. When using small axial rollers under normal conditions, there is a risk of product damage. To prevent product damage, we recommend smooth rubber rollers with a diameter of 90 mm.

The smooth rubber rollers are standard made with a rubber hardness of around 55 Shore. Different hardnesses are also available, but on request.
